Welcome to OppiePlaas Country Estate!<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We specialise in weddings, corporate functions, special events and accommodation <\/strong>on our distinctive farm – Mtwentwe Estate – with its stunning location near Haga Haga on the Eastern Cape Wild Coast in South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re big enough to accommodate up to 80 guests for functions. At the same time we’re abundantly homely to ensure affinity and intimacy in what we offer. We make it our concern to understand the needs and requirements of our patrons … and provide our service in a setting unrivaled for its natural beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OppiePlaas Country Estate also offers top-quality self-catering and bed & breakfast accommodation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, we run a family-owned pub and<\/strong> restaurant<\/strong>, open during the Easter and Christmas holidays, as well as over selected long weekends, where we serve delicious, hearty food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Functional during load shedding!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a fully-integrated solar energy installation which caters for all our energy needs, also during load shedding.<\/strong> This includes electricity supply to our water pumps to maintain the water supply to our facilities, and the ongoing functionality of our free Wi-Fi service.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Animals and pets on our farm<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Small pets are welcome by prior arrangement on Mtwentwe Estate\/OppiePlaas. Furthermore, Max, Trixie, Mica and Jacks (our small dogs) will be too glad to get attention and play!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stayed at OppiePlaas, Haga Haga for eight nights. It was absolutely the best holiday we have had as a family! The accommodation was perfection, there was so much for our kids to do, the entertainment area was so well thought out, from pool, ping pong, giant jenga and dominies, to lawn croquet and other fun activities! Our kids were never bored! The food at the restaurant was so delicious, I\u2019m dreaming of returning just for their pizzas! It was so close to the beach, so we could enjoy the best of both \u2013 a farm stay and a beach holiday … and even a bush holiday as we could watch the giraffe and other game every morning in the neighbouring game farm. The owners and staff were so friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay feel like a home away from home. This place is a hidden treasure that is worth travelling to from anywhere in South Africa!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
