Apart from specialising as a wedding and function venue, as well as offering a pub and restaurant service, OppiePlaas Country Estate also established itself as a popular venue for staging fun events for the community and holiday makers, such as mountain bike outrides, fun runs, boeresport and games.
OppiePlaas Country Estate boasts having hosted in the past special events such as the landmark Land Reform Summit on 7 November 2018, as well as various family and community-orientated competitions. Numerous famous South African artists such as Dozi, the Radio Kalahari Orkes, DJ Ossewa, Centre Stage and Peter Mitchell (aka Pietman die Skot) also performed on the farm, much to the delight of packed audiences.
Join us for our future events, or contact us to arrange your own special event, including 4×4 excursions, mountain bike outrides or fun runs, freshwater bass catch-and-release fishing outings, or theme days for your club or interest group.
And should you want to fly in, we even have a 550 m grassed landing strip for light aircraft.
